Ekspertvurdering
Block any unknown number that claims to be a survey from Edward Jones until you verify its source. Many callers spoof the Edward Jones ID, but the actual organization behind most of these calls is J.D. Powers, a market‑research firm. They usually ask a few short questions about your advisor’s performance and rarely request personal data. If you’re not comfortable, let the call go to voicemail and check the message for a callback number, then call the official Edward Jones office to confirm. Registering your line on the National Do‑Not‑Call Registry can reduce the volume, but it won’t stop spoofed survey calls entirely.

Someone has been trying to reach me through this number, mispronouncing my name, though the number they're calling is one I've not used in over seven years. The current holder of that number has informed me of these calls. After trying to return the call, I received a message stating that the call could not be completed. I've emailed J.D. Powers and the Ed Jones offices to verify the legitimacy of these calls, related to a potential check I'm awaiting from Ed Jones, but have yet to receive a response.
When I answered the phone, ther was no one on the other end, it was a bit strange.
