Around 8:30 PM I received a night call; the speaker claimed to be from World Trader, speaking with an accent, and mentioned credits in my crypto account.

Be cautious when unfamiliar numbers call you after dark, especially if they claim to represent a 'World Trader' and mention crypto credits. Such outreach often aims to lure you into costly schemes or extract personal data. Verify any company through official channels before sharing details, and never provide account numbers or passwords over the phone. Consider blocking the number and reporting it to your telecom provider. Keep a log of suspicious calls, and educate household members about the risks of unsolicited crypto offers. If you suspect fraud, contact your bank and local consumer protection agency promptly.
