Reports consistently describe a caller identifying as ESS Solar, pushing solar panel sales with a persistent pitch. This aligns with telemarketing patterns where unsolicited calls target homeowners for energy solutions, often ignoring do-not-call lists. Hang up immediately to avoid engagement, as these scripts are designed to build rapport quickly. Block the number on your phone and report to authorities like the FTC if calls persist. Prioritize privacy by not sharing personal details, and consider registering with national do-not-call services for fewer intrusions. Such tactics exploit curiosity about green tech, but legitimate offers rarely cold-call.
