Expert Opinion
Calls keep ringing on both mobile and landline, driving me crazy. The pattern shows a repeatable script where the caller pretends to represent SOS Kinderdorf and pushes for monthly donations, often starting at €5 and escalating. Most recipients report immediate hang‑ups after a brief greeting, indicating a low‑effort fraud attempt. Block the number on your device, register it with your carrier’s spam list, and never share personal or payment details with unsolicited callers. If you’re unsure, hang up and verify the organization’s official contact channels before any donation. Staying vigilant and using call‑blocking tools are the best defenses against these donation scams.
