Ever wondered why you keep receiving sudden weather alerts from an unfamiliar number? The messages appear to be automated broadcasts from the Polish state weather service, often tagged with Alert RCB. While the warnings can be useful, they also expose a privacy gap: any handset logged onto a Polish network may be added to the list. To protect yourself, consider blocking the sender on your device, check the official RCB website for verification, and, if possible, opt‑out via your mobile provider’s spam‑filter settings. Remember that genuine alerts will reference a specific region and include a link to an official source; vague texts are a red flag.
