PayPal scam calls – how to protect yourself! - +44 800 917 2779 (0800 917 2779)

専門家の見解
You’d be shocked to discover that the same spoofed PayPal number keeps popping up across dozens of complaints. These calls never come from official PayPal lines; the company only contacts users via email or its secure app. Never share your email, password, or card digits with anyone who phones you. If you’re unsure, hang up, log into your PayPal account directly, and verify any alerts. Add the number to your phone’s block list, report it to your carrier, and consider using a call‑filtering service. Stay vigilant, keep personal details private, and remember that legitimate businesses won’t demand sensitive information over an unsolicited call.

A clever scam, though it felt genuine. My account showed no issues as they claimed. I won’t teach scammers, but any caller claiming a problem is likely a fraud; banks profit from client troubles. The two positives listed probably came from the Irishman mentioned.
Identified as a scam attempt
I dont think this is really Paypal, they didnt leave a message

Bad user experience
They called me twice this evening; I didn’t answer. A quick Google search revealed many complaints about this PayPal scam number, so I’ll block it. Though I’m tempted to answer just to waste their time, I wonder if anyone has ever been charged for picking up.
I googled the number and found alot of negative review, i will block it

Telefonen ringer vedvarende og beder om svar på sikkerhedsspørgsmål; i dag blev jeg truet med, at en betaling ville fordobles hver dag, hvis jeg ikke betalte. Det er bare skørt, lol.
