This RBS call seemed genuine at first, but the caller's mistakes were a giveaway, making it a frightening experience.
Upon calling back, a recording from the Royal Bank of Scotland direct banking service answered, but as I'm not a customer, I didn't pursue the call further and have since blocked the number - a precaution I recommend to others.

I returned the call and it seemed to be RBS, but they requested my customer number, which made me suspicious, so I ended the call.
Following a missed call from this number i got a text from RBS saying ‘ Miss Blank I've recently tried to contact you to make sure you're getting the most out of your money and the products you hold with us. To find out how I could help save you money and time, please contact me at lauren.k.kelly ..., or on 07790918918 Lauren Kelly Senior Personal Banker’ I dont bank with RBS - whats with these scamming arse holes
Purportedly from Royal Bank of Scotland, however I dont hold an account with them so terminated the call

Received a missed call claiming to be from RBS, but I wouldn't engage as I prefer paper correspondence from my bank
Claimed to be from RBS and had all my details. They mentioned a debit card left at a branch and said they would contact the branch to send it. The branch confirmed this, so it might actually be RBS.
Following a recent mortgage application with NatWest, I received a call from a representative claiming to be Christabell, who offered support and left her mobile number, 07711 761977, although I couldn't verify the authenticity of the call
Upon calling this number back, I was greeted with a message from The Royal Bank of Scotland Direct banking, at which point I ended the call
