The purpose of the call is unclear to me
All morning i have been in panic after recieving a call from this number
I had previously contacted BT about a line fault, and this call was from a technician at their UK technical support centre, which is based in India.

Apparently, this number is genuine, i was expecting a call from British Telecom and thats who it was
O2 customer services have been in touch with me regarding a fault on my phone, using this number to call me multiple times, and I can confirm it's legitimate and trustworthy.

Although it’s BT, the connection initially gives a scam impression due to crackling and a distant sound. I had a fault on my line, which they resolved promptly. They called to ensure it was fixed.
