Beware of unsolicited calls from this number—it's a classic scam tactic often impersonating major UK mobile providers. Reports consistently highlight fraudsters posing as EE, O2, or 3, pushing fake refunds, discounts, or SIM upgrades to extract personal details like emails, codes, or bank info. They may hang up quickly, speak with accents, or use noisy backgrounds to mask their operations. Never share any information; simply hang up and block immediately. Report to your provider by forwarding the number to 7726, and consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service for fewer nuisance calls. Staying vigilant helps protect against identity theft and financial loss.

Claimed to be from ‘EE’. I replied, ‘Not from this number, you’re not.’ He laughed and admitted, ‘I’m trying to scam you!’ When I exclaimed, ‘What?!’ He offered a 40% discount. I thanked him politely, hung up, and blocked the number.
