I was messaged by someone posing as Nicole, claiming to recruit for a job; I haven’t applied anywhere recently, making it a scam, and the WhatsApp profile belongs to a business named Marie Lawson.

Opinión del experto
This number is linked to a recruitment scam, where fraudsters pose as recruiters to exploit job seekers. The caller impersonated 'Nicole' via message but the WhatsApp profile shows 'Marie Lawson', a clear red flag for deception. Such tactics often lead to phishing or fake job offers demanding personal details or payments. Block the number immediately and report it to your phone provider or Action Fraud to curb wider harm. Avoid responding or sharing info, as it fuels these schemes. If you've engaged, monitor accounts for unusual activity and consider changing passwords. Stay vigilant with unsolicited contacts—verify via official channels only.
