A call from an Indian centre pretended to be Three mobile. I hung up as soon as they identified themselves; I never trust untraceable cold callers. In my view, it was dodgy, though I could be mistaken.

Názor experta
Picture this: an unsolicited ring from an unfamiliar number, with a voice on the line claiming ties to a familiar mobile provider. Reports like this one highlight a common ploy where callers pose as legitimate companies, often from overseas operations, to extract personal details or push unwanted services. In this instance, the accent and untraceable origin scream scam potential, urging immediate hang-up without engaging. To safeguard privacy, always verify through official channels—never share info over cold calls. Enable caller ID blocking on your phone, register with the Telephone Preference Service, and report suspicious numbers to Action Fraud. Staying vigilant keeps scammers at bay.
