رأي الخبراء
Beware of any call that claims to be from NatWest’s fraud department using this number. Most callers are spoofing a legitimate NatWest line to harvest personal details such as DOB, postcode, or PIN. Hang up immediately, then contact NatWest through the official 0800 or online portal to confirm any alleged issue. Never share security codes, OTPs, or banking credentials over the phone. Block the number on your device and report it to the bank’s fraud team, as well as to your phone provider. Keep a log of the call time and what was requested – it helps investigators spot patterns and protect other customers.

Scam identified
This is a blatant scam - they'll try to convince you that your NatWest account has been compromised, but don't give them any information
Contrary to scam allegations, this is an authentic NatWest line. However, scammers adeptly mimic bank numbers, making it hard to trust calls. Always verify by contacting your bank directly using the number on your card. Don’t hesitate, as it might be a genuine alert about your account.

Unfavorable experience shared
I do not have an account with Nat West.
Scam attempt, beware of security detail requests
A sophisticated scam was attempted by a woman who claimed to be from Natwest, using a cloned bank number to appear genuine, and after completing 'security' measures, she requested sensitive card information, resulting in unauthorized transactions from my account.
This is a scam! They’re using a spoofed NatWest number. Hang up immediately and don’t interact with these fraudsters.

Other type of experience reported
0345 788 8844 pretending to be NatWest, very annoying.
Claimed to represent NatWest Bank. I suspected a scam, so I hung up. They didn’t call back. This is definitely NOT NatWest; they wouldn’t ask you to confirm details over the phone. This is a scam, so be cautious.

Talk about account fraude then hang up
Received a call from NatWest about my card being used in Liverpool, but I'm in London. The caller, Adrian Smith, knew my name and address but got the card details wrong. Really concerning.
Warning to be cautious

These spammers are after my money and account access, making their intentions clear.
I confirmed this is indeed the genuine NatWest number, as it matches the one on the back of their cards, and after calling back, I was informed that scammers often hack into their numbers to appear legitimate.
