We've had a terrible experience with Scotland Taxi, waiting for a taxi that never arrived and then being sent to voicemail when we tried to call; I'm reporting this incident to the police.

I received a call from 03303326240, and they left a text message claiming to be from Metrobank, attempting to verify a debit card payment to IKEA. However, after researching this forum, I confirmed that it is indeed a scam. I wonder if it is possible to trace the origin of this number.

I received a similar message about a £2476 charge to IKEA from Metro; they urged me to verify if it wasn't me urgently.

Same as before, same message received multiple times. Seems like a scam.

Following a call from this number, I contacted Barclays to verify its authenticity and was informed that it is not affiliated with them, despite the caller's claims.

I recived the same text message 13 hour ago, its definately a scam

I've been getting the same message about ikea, so I've ignored it

Metro allegedly wanted to confirm a debit of 2476 pounds to IKEA, causing concern for my 17-year-old daughter, who had just received her first part-time job pay.

Today, I received a text message claiming to be from Metrobank, asking me to verify a debit card payment to IKEA for £2476.00. It's obviously a scam since multiple people have received the same message, urging them to call 03303326240.

A text message was received by my partner, causing undue alarm, and although she did attempt to return the call, it went unanswered; I subsequently reported this incident to the Halifax Building Society after verifying the details on this website

Following previouse warnings from others, I recieved a suspicious message allegedly from Barclays regarding a £2476 payment to Ikea, which I dont beleive is legitamate

Received a text today claiming to be from Barclays about verifying a Debit Card payment to IKEA for £2476.00 GBP. It read, "If this was not you, please urgently call us on 03303326240." I noticed the unusual punctuation and the absence of any reference to the last four digits of a card number. Since I don’t have a Barclaycard, I didn’t respond anyway!

I suspect a dangerous scam is at play, similar to the previous commenter's experience with Ikea and the same amount.

Got the same message as above about an IKEA charge at 20:59. A bit scary, but I haven't taken any action yet.
