Three calls arrived from two nearly identical numbers, with one following shortly after the other, right after I updated a setting on Vinted that needed a verification code. It feels rather suspicious.
Unexpected UK number after Vinted code – scam alert! - +44 20 8103 3158 (020 8103 3158)

Oddly enough, a flurry of late‑night calls from a UK number shows up right after receiving a Vinted verification code. Most reporters describe short, robotic messages that repeat the numeric code, then hang up, prompting fears of a scam. The pattern of multiple similar numbers calling within minutes suggests an automated system trying to harvest or confirm the code. To stay safe, ignore unknown callers, block the number, and let the official Vinted app handle verification. Report the incident to your carrier and to Vinted’s support. Never share personal details or confirm payments over a surprise phone call.

Wiederholende unverlangte Anrufe.
