Avis d’expert
Repeated calls from the BT number suggest a telemarketing operation that keeps ringing even after you decline. Do not share personal details such as your date of birth, email or bank information unless you have independently verified the caller’s identity. Use your phone’s built‑in block feature or register the number with the Telephone Preference Service to curb future disturbances. If the call claims urgency or threatens legal action, treat it as a red flag and report it to OFCOM and, where appropriate, to Action Fraud. Keeping a log of call times can help when lodging a complaint.
