Ever wonder why a stranger keeps calling you with a "free holiday" promise? It’s usually a classic timeshare scam that pretends you won a prize after a bogus survey. The caller will pressure you for personal details or a small payment for flights, then disappear. Never share banking or identity information, and don’t agree to meet in person unless you’ve independently verified the company’s address and registration. Hang up, block the number and report the call to the Information Commissioner’s Office or Action Fraud. Keep a log of the calls – it helps authorities spot patterns and protect others.

Company
Although this company offers a free week's accommodation, requiring only flight payment, the catch is a lengthy timeshare sales pitch, which can be frustrating, but I've had some good holidays through them nonetheless

I received a call a few days ago but ended it quickly due to work. They called again tonight about a free holiday I supposedly won from a survey. I was skeptical but provided my address, email, and income level. They didn't send the promised email. Should I be concerned?
