It was a telecom scam – the caller pretended to be from BT, asking how many phones we own, which BT would already know. When I pressed, she switched to ‘Associated Telecom’ and claimed we’d spoken last November, which wasn’t true. I told her I wasn’t interested; she kept pushing a bit before the call finally cut off.
