Since I didn't recognize the number, I chose not to answer, and shortly after, I received a text from BT regarding my switch to Sky, leading me to believe it was likely a call from BT.

Following three conssecutive calls from this number, I finaly answered on the third occassion and spoke with a representative from BT who seemed genuinly interested in discussing my decision to switch suppliers.

01912614096 called shortly after another persistent number (0845602111) had harassed me with five calls in an hour. I never answer unrecognized numbers, as genuine callers can leave a message.
I recieved a call from this number claiming to be from BT, but the person on the line had a Geordie accent, and when I questioned their authenticity, they hung up, and later sent a text with a scam number.
