専門家の見解
Never share personal details with unexpected callers – it’s the quickest way to protect yourself. These reports point to a persistent tax rebate scam where the fraudster pretends to be from HMRC and already knows your name, address and postcode. Ask for official reference numbers and call the genuine HMRC helpline back using the number on their website; genuine agents will never demand payment for a form. Block the number and report it to Action Fraud, especially if the caller insists on sending paperwork or asks for bank details. Keep a log of call times and any recorded phrases – it helps investigators track organised rings.
