Ever wonder why that persistent ring from an unknown number feels off? These calls from +441482293810 overwhelmingly point to an energy scam operation, where callers pose as reps from companies like British Gas or Energy Rescue to push fake savings deals. They often know your name, hang up if you're not the target, and never leave voicemailsโclassic red flags. Multiple reports highlight aggressive tactics from what seems like overseas call centers, aiming to harvest personal info for fraud. Block the number immediately and report it to your carrier or sites like Who Called Me. Never share details, even if they sound legit; hang up and verify directly with your actual provider. Staying vigilant saves headaches and potential identity theft.

They called me yesterday, and when I answered, they immediately hung up. They tried again at 6 pm today, but I didn't notice in time, so it went to voicemail. The voicemail had about four different people laughing into the phone. It was the strangest spam call I've ever experienced.

Just seen on my caller log that I recieved 2 missed calls from this number, Friday November 8th 2024. My S24 Ultra flagged the calls as 'Blocked Spam Call'. The area code looked legit as it's similar to the area code I reside in. So I thought I'd have a little Google and saw that it was a malicious caller. Moral of the story, don't just answer the phone to anyone. If you don't recognise and it seems sus, trust your instincts and Google it. TZ
