My landline keeps getting rings about an unknown utility bill, mate.
At 6 pm on Wednesday I got a suspicious call from a man with a thick South African accent claiming he could save me a lot each month if I switched to Scottish Power. He said he'd connect me to a Scottish Power adviser, then an American‑accented voice cut in. I blocked the number straight away.
