Ý kiến chuyên gia
Imagine receiving a call that claims to be from WhatsApp, urging you to read out a verification code. The voice is often pre‑recorded and the tone sounds official, but the service never contacts users by phone for this purpose. Never disclose any code to an unknown caller, even if they sound convincing. Hang up, block the number and report the incident through WhatsApp’s in‑app support. Verify any code request directly in the app, not via SMS or a phone call. Keep a log of the call details and share them with your mobile provider to help filter future spam. Staying cautious protects both your account and your personal data.

At 19:54 I received a call I didn't answer – completely random – and later a cancelled call at 21:40, plus a WhatsApp link I never opened. It was listed as a job post contact number.

Achtung! Ein Whatsapp-Anruf mit einer Bandansage wegen Verifizierung, die zweimal wiederholt wird
If you’re not setting up WhatsApp, a verification code arriving on a new phone means someone else is trying to use your number.
I got a call from this number and a mobile at 7 am, then started receiving WhatsApp verification codes – definitely a scam.
Like many others, I got a call from this number right after a sudden WhatsApp code notification, and it happened on Christmas Day!
Achtung: Whatsapp‑Anruf mit Verifizierungs‑Bandansage (Code). Gut zuhören – wird zweimal wiederholt!
