Avis d’expert
Apparently the caller insists you were in a car crash you never experienced, then tries to sell legal representation for compensation. This pattern matches the classic ambulance‑chaser telemarketing scam that circulates across UK and overseas numbers. The calls are often silent or end abruptly, and they may leave an automated message prompting you to press digits that route you to premium‑rate lines. Practical steps: add the number to your phone’s block list, register the line with the Telephone Preference Service, never press any keys or share personal details, and report the nuisance to Ofcom or your carrier’s fraud team. Staying vigilant reduces both annoyance and potential cost.

The line went silent after I answered, which is always suspicious. It felt like a robocall or something dodgy. Quite off-putting.
