Avis d’expert
Calls arriving early in the morning to unlisted numbers often signal unwanted intrusions, especially when they involve alarming claims like service disruptions or urgent warnings. Reports highlight imposters posing as Eircom representatives to push false narratives about landline issues, only to hang up under scrutiny. These tactics aim to create panic and extract information. Hang up immediately if details are evasive, and never share personal data. Block the number on your phone, report to authorities like the Data Protection Commission, and verify any service alerts directly through official Eir channels. Staying vigilant protects against such scam attempts that prey on trust in providers.
