Users report receiving verification texts from this number pretending to be from AIB for Apple Pay setup, even though they lack accounts with either. This setup screams phishing scam, where fraudsters trick people into sharing personal info or clicking malicious links. Don't respond to such messages—delete them right away. Forward details to your bank and authorities like the Gardaí or the Central Bank of Ireland for investigation. Enable two-factor authentication on real accounts, and use apps to block suspicious numbers. If you've interacted, monitor your accounts closely and change passwords immediately to avoid identity theft.
