Repeated spikes in call volume suggest a coordinated outreach effort. Callers consistently use silent drops or brief greetings before hanging up, a hallmark of robocall scams that aim to harvest personal data. The pattern of daily or multiple‑daily attempts, often between 10 am and 12 pm, aligns with aggressive telemarketing campaigns that impersonate major Belgian operators such as Orange or Proximus. Victims report no spoken message, just a brief connection and a cut‑off, which is typical for scam calls designed to trigger a callback. Practical steps include adding the number to your device’s block list, registering with the national do‑not‑call registry, and refusing to share any personal information if the call is answered.
