Picture this: your phone lights up with +27873104296, and the call drops in multiple times a day, each time offering a “special” data deal or asking for personal details. Most users describe the line as a relentless telemarketing grind, often masquerading as Vodacom, MTN or other telecoms, and many flag it as a scam. The safest move is to ignore unknown offers, record the caller ID, and add the number to your block list or report it to your carrier. If the caller asks for account info, hang up immediately and verify through official channels. Consistent blocking and reporting will reduce the nuisance.

It rings a single time then drops; the same happens with 0318307500. I have no clue who’s behind it and callbacks never connect.
These scammers need to be blocked.

I received a call from 0873104296 where the individual pretended to be from Vodacom and shockingly possessed my complete Vodacom contract information, including ID, address, and bank details. Vodacom still hasn’t explained how scammers obtained our data. You can also add 082 004 8181 and 0311236666 to the blacklist, as they seem linked to this fraud.
