These calls are clearly a telemarketing nuisance that relies on automated recordings and aggressive repeat dialing. Most victims describe pre‑recorded sales pitches, lottery offers, or bogus service promotions that never lead to a real transaction. The volume and persistence suggest a robocall operation rather than a single legitimate business. To protect yourself, let the call go to voicemail, avoid pressing any keypad prompts, and add the number to your phone’s block list or a national do‑not‑call registry. Consider using call‑filtering apps that flag spam sources, and report repeat offenders to your carrier for possible blocking enforcement.
