Fundraising Scam Calls? How to Stop Them! - +1 980-265-5582 ((980) 265-5582)
Přehled — +19802655582
Názor odborníka
Oddly enough, the same number keeps resurfacing as a fundraising scam that pretends to support police agencies. Callers pressure victims for credit‑card details, then switch tactics when blocked, often spoofing a generic "NOT IN SERVICE" ID. The pattern suggests a persistent telemarketing operation rather than a legitimate charity. Protect yourself by refusing any unsolicited payment request, hanging up, and reporting the number to the FTC and your carrier. Use built‑in call‑blocking features or third‑party apps, and verify any fundraiser directly through official agency websites before you engage.

It's frustrationg to continously recieve calls from this number, despite numerious requests to stop and informing them they have the wrong number, they persist and have even changed their tactic to claim it's a fund raiser for the state highway police, initally they were asking to speak to a woman named Annie.

Repeatedly, I've received calls from 980-265-5582, located in Charlotte, NC, which I've chosen to ignore due to the unfamiliar number. Despite blocking the number, the calls persist, including two this morning at 8:45 a.m. and 10:15. Unfortunately, I'm unable to identify the company associated with this number.
