The caller claimed to represent MADD, but the conversation seemed automated due to a noticeable delay, and a woman's voice was heard saying 'hello' before the message began; I ended the call
Why this ‘fundraising’ phone script is a scam! - +1 902-608-5009 ((902) 608-5009)

Pandangan pakar
Ever wonder why a call claiming to be MADD ends up asking for your credit card? The pattern on +19026085009 points to a classic donation fraud scheme: spoofed caller ID, AI‑driven soundboard, and a push for immediate cash. Callers often pretend to represent charities, then pivot to “verify” payments or request credit‑card details. The safest move is to hang up, never share personal or financial info, and block the number on your device. Verify any charity request through official channels, and report suspicious calls to your carrier or the FTC. Staying skeptical keeps you out of the scam’s net.
