Opinione dell’esperto
Earlier this week, a familiar pattern emerged: the number +1‑888‑280‑4331 is being spoofed to sound like Amazon customer service and to warn about a supposed $700‑plus purchase. Callers claim an order for an iPhone or a large charge and demand a verification code or a link to click. Amazon never initiates such requests by phone, never asks for passwords, and will not ask you to install software. If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately, verify the account status through the official Amazon app or website, and consider reporting the number to the FCC or your carrier. Blocking the number and enabling call‑screening can also reduce future nuisance.

These scammers are perpetrating a fraud by posing as Amazon representatives, claiming a large purchase has been made on my account, and are clearly incompetent individuals unable to find legitimate employment.

The informations provided by user is bad
The caller, who claimed to be an Amazon representative, spoke in a manner that was difficult to understand. I questioned the authenticity of the call, given the poor communication skills, and decided to engage in a humorous exchange, responding in German with an Indian accent, which provided an entertaining diversion.
