Calls claiming a Best Buy refund keep popping up, and the voice often asks to press 1 or grant remote access. Most reports point to a classic tech‑support or refund scam that pretends to be from a major retailer. Hang up immediately, never share personal or payment info, and block the number through your carrier or phone app. Verify any legitimate offers by contacting Best Buy directly using the official website or store number. Keep a log of timestamps and wording in case you need to report to the FTC or your phone provider. Staying skeptical and using call‑blocking tools are the best defenses.
