Ever wonder why a stranger keeps ringing your phone day after day without ever leaving a voicemail? The pattern you’re hearing matches typical debt‑collection scams: aggressive questioning, refusal to identify the company, and constant requests for address, birthdate or Social Security details. Since the number is repeatedly linked to First Collection Services in user reports, treat it as a debt‑collector calling without proper verification. Hang up immediately, block the number on your device, and report the call to the FTC or your state’s consumer protection agency. Never share personal data until the caller provides a legitimate name, address and written proof of the alleged debt.

A caller from this number claimed to be associated with the SSI office and sought to verify my personal information over the phone, which I deemed suspicious.

The debt collector does not verify the identity of the person they are trying to reach and expects payment regardless.

Over 50 calls from this number have left me extremely frustrated
This number is a nuisance, making repeated calls without leaving any voicemails, a hallmark of garbage tactics.
From my experiance, this number appears to be used by a collection agency that utilizies an autodialer, despite their denials, and although they seem to be legit, their tactics can be annoyting.
