Ekspertvurdering
Caution advised: unsolicited background‑check requests often hide a scam. Callers like the one using the name Tracy typically press for personal details through forms, hoping to harvest identity data. Never share Social Security numbers, financial info, or upload documents unless you’ve verified the organization through official channels. Hang up, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your phone carrier. Consider registering your line with the National Do Not Call Registry to reduce future nuisance calls. Keep a log of dates, times, and any recorded voice prompts; this can help authorities track patterns and protect others.
