A call was made to my cell phone from a number apparently based in Alvin, TX, but no message was left. When I returned the call from a different number, I reached a customer service line that claimed to be raising funds for various charities, stating that they would attempt to call back soon and citing their exemption from the National Do Not Call list as the reason for their ability to contact me despite my registration.
