전문가 의견
Beware the surge of spoofed Comcast calls that masquerade as tech support or upgrades. These caller ID spoofing efforts often aim to harvest personal data or sell unnecessary equipment. Treat any unsolicited request for remote access, payment, or device changes as suspicious; hang up and verify through the official provider’s website or customer portal. Use your phone’s block feature or a trusted call‑filtering app to reduce repeat violations. Keep a log of offending numbers and report them to the FCC or your carrier. Remember, legitimate Comcast agents will never demand payment via gift cards or ask you to install software on your own device.
