You’d be shocked to discover that a single 800‑848‑6902 number has sparked a flood of mixed reports. Callers repeatedly claim to represent Sam’s Club and ask to confirm recent purchases, often using a thick foreign accent. While some contacts appear to be genuine verification from the retailer’s order‑fulfillment team, many lack basic credentials and press for personal data. To stay safe, always hang up if the caller asks for credit‑card numbers, Social Security, or passwords. Then call the number printed on your Sam’s Club receipt or visit the official website to verify the order through an official channel. Never trust voicemail prompts that request you to call back a spoofed number without first confirming the source.
