Expertomdöme
People keep receiving unexpected TikTok verification codes they never requested, which many flag as a phishing attempt. The messages usually contain a short numeric code and a warning not to forward it, but the real goal is to lure a reply or click that harvests personal data. To stay safe, ignore any unsolicited verification code texts, block the originating number, and report the incident to the FTC or your carrier. Never share your phone number, email, or payment details with unknown callers. If you use TikTok, enable two‑factor authentication within the official app and verify that any code comes directly from the platform.
