Avis d’expert
Calls arriving at odd hours, like 2 am, raise eyebrows when the number claims to be Google Support. Most users describe legitimate assistance with device issues, verification codes or account queries, yet a notable minority report unsolicited gift‑card requests and vague sales pitches – classic signs of a scam. To stay safe, always cross‑check the caller ID against official Google contact numbers, never share passwords or payment details over the phone, and end the call if the request feels off‑centre. If you initiated a support ticket, a callback is reasonable; otherwise, hang up and contact Google through the app or website. Quick verification can save you from fraud.

The company call was generic and seemed more like a sales pitch than anything useful.
