Expertenmeinung

Ever wonder why your phone keeps pinging a phantom voicemail from the same number? Most users report that the number belongs to a carrier’s default voicemail service, often surfacing as a silent alert with no actual message. To cut the noise, first verify your voicemail settings and disable any call‑forwarding that routes to this number. If the alerts persist, block the caller ID through your device or carrier, and consider filing a complaint with your provider’s fraud department. Never return the call or provide personal info, as scammers can spoof these alerts to harvest credentials. Stay vigilant and keep your voicemail preferences tidy.

For years, I've been receiving frequent calls from this number, at least twice a month, and I still have no idea who's behind it or what company they represent, despite my efforts to investigate and even posting about it on Facebook as a potential scam, which leaves me wondering what further action can be taken to put an end to this harassment and whether law enforcement can offer any assistance.
