Мнение эксперта

A caller claiming to be “John” tried to push a house purchase during Thanksgiving dinner. The pattern matches a classic scam where strangers pressure homeowners with unsolicited offers, often using vague or aggressive language. Hang up immediately and block the number; avoid sharing personal information or details about your property. If the caller mentions a deceased relative, treat it as a red flag and report the incident to the FTC or your state consumer protection office. Keep a log of call times and any recorded messages. Consider adding the number to a call‑blocking app and inform family members so they stay vigilant against similar spam attempts.
