Bottom line: these calls are a classic legal‑scam ploy that pretends to be a process server delivering court papers. Callers flash a vague case number, use a generic “Unit Processing” or “Processing Division” name, and pressure you to provide personal info or pay fees. Never share address or payment details without verifying the agency. Hang up, block the number, and report it to the FTC or your state attorney‑general. If you’re unsure, look up the phone number online and contact the actual court or law firm directly. Using call‑blocking apps and scrutinizing any unsolicited legal threat can cut the nuisance quickly.
