BMO impersonation scams—what to watch out for! - +1 514-875-3653 ((514) 875-3653)
概要 — +15148753653
専門家の見解
Picture this: a synthetic voice rings your phone, insisting it’s a BMO representative offering insurance or a cash‑back program, then hangs up as soon as you press for details. This pattern matches a classic robocall scam that harvests personal data and can lead to fraudulent charges. If you receive an unexpected call from an unknown number, let it go to voicemail, verify the caller through official BMO channels, and never share identifiers like your SIN or account numbers. Enable your carrier’s call‑blocking feature, report the number to the national anti‑spam registry, and regularly review your bank statements for unauthorized activity. Staying vigilant protects both your identity and your wallet.
