Opinião de especialista
These hangup calls from the 412 area code scream robocall spam—short rings, no messages, and caller ID squeezed like "CARNEGIE PA" are classic signs of automated dialing systems probing for active numbers. Reports popping up instantly on search engines confirm this isn't legit; it's likely scammers testing lines for future harassment or phishing. Don't call back, as it verifies your number's live and invites more junk. Block the number immediately on your phone or carrier app, and report it to the FTC at donotcall.gov to help curb these pests. If it persists, consider a call-blocking device for extra peace.

The call ended after only four rings, not enough for an answering machine. When I searched the number, the top three Google results were report sites like this one, indicating spam/robocall.
