Beware of unsolicited verification calls that claim to deliver an AOL security code. Many users report receiving multiple automated messages from +14086104900, often at odd hours, with a spoken code and no clear identification. While some legitimate two‑factor authentication systems use voice calls, the lack of caller ID and the generic script are red flags. Do not share any personal details or confirm account information over the phone. Instead, log into your AOL account directly via a trusted browser, check the security settings, and request a new code through the official website. If the call feels suspicious, block the number and report it to AOL’s abuse team.
