Clearly, the pattern points to a tech‑support scam where callers pretend to be Microsoft or Windows support and pressure you into granting remote access. They often use recorded “invalid number” messages to hide their true source. Never share personal or computer details, and hang up if you’re not sure. Block the number, add it to the FTC’s Do‑Not‑Call list, and report the call to your phone carrier. If you think a legitimate issue exists, call the official company number found on their website—not the one that called you. Stay skeptical and keep your devices secured.
