Generally, i dont answer calls from unrecognised numbers on my cell phone, and i think others should do the same. If the call is important, the person will leave a message. I've also noticed that sending back junk mail with a self-paid return envelope has significantly reduced the amount of credit card offers i recieve. It's best to ignore unsollicited calls and mail to avoid unwanted hassle.
