Despite having a private number, this caller rings multiple times
Received multiple calls, even at 21:00 in the evening, from someone claiming I had won an online contest with a prize of a good deal with eon, which seems highly suspicious since I have not participated in any online contests and do not have an electricity contract with anyone; they requested a lot of information, prompting me to recently sign up for the do-not-call list.
Following a call from someone claiming to represent EON, I was asked to explain why I had switched electricity providers. Although I hadn't actually made the switch, my subscription had been registered under a relative's name during a move, which might have caused the confusion. The person I spoke to seemed suspicious, prompting me to verify the call with EON's customer service, which confirmed they were indeed making such calls. Apparently, I'm a bit wary of people calling about electricity contracts lately.
The caller was attempting to persuade me to switch from a prepaid card to a subscription, and I must say the guy was extremely pleasant
Recieved no anser, they called again at 15.41.....
Luckily, I missed their call, which consisted of only two rings before they hung up, and I hope they won't be calling again, especially not at 12:20 in the middle of the day.
