Santander fraud line scam? What you need to know! - +44 808 280 1112 (0808 280 1112)

Posing as my bank, yet a quick check proved they’re impostors. Stay alert.

Callers claimed to be from Santander, asking for bank details to stop a scam. Ironically, they were the scammers!

They pretended to be my bank, but after checking, it's clear they're not legitimate. Everyone should be cautious.

A text message was recieved stating a mobile number would be contacting me, however the subsequent text contained a scam about apple HK and a request to call this number with a provided code, clearly a fraudulent attempt - the Santander fraud department can be contacted via their app if you have doubts, just ring them directly.

Interestingly, I can confirm this number is not Santander, I've just recieved a call on my desk phone and I actualy work for Santander, what a coincidence!

Someone from this number, claiming to be from Santander, asked if I had made a Paypal payment from my account, and I replied that I hadn't.

A text message, purportedly from Santander, asked me to respond with 'Y' if I recognised a payment to Microsoft36.

Fraudulent texts were sent, posing as Santander, in an attempt to deceive me into confirming fake transactions

Santander Bank scam attempt

This number has called three times. The first time was while I was paying a business invoice, so I was initially fooled. But when they asked for my date of birth, I became suspicious and hung up. I haven’t answered the subsequent calls and will check with Santander, the bank they claimed to represent.

This is a scam. After a large money transfer, my Santander account was blocked for safety. They asked me to verify details, which I did, but later received a call from this number asking for my date of birth. It's a scam!

Experienced three calls from this number over the weekend, all declined due to the 'Scam' alert on my phone. Coincidentally, multiple fraudulent transactions appeared on my credit card during the same period.

A supposidly represantative from Sandanter, 08082801112, contacted me today requesting I call another number and provide a code, clearley a scam.

A call was made pretending to be from Santander, but after verifying with Santander, it was confirmed that the call did not originate from them.

This number is a spoofed Santander number, it appeares to be legitamate but it's not, if you're contacted by them, do not provide any information and instead contact the Santander number on the back of your card to check for any fraudulant transactions.

The caller claimed to be from Santander bank, but since the bank does not have our mobile number, it was clear that the call was fake

Following a fraudulent transaction of 89p detected by Santander, I received a message from this number containing links, which Santander confirmed is not their practice; I subsequently cancelled my bank card.
