I experienced a similar ‘PayPal’ call and will block the number. Shouldn't BT intervene when 0800 numbers are misused like this?

Ekspertvurdering
You’d be shocked to discover that the same spoofed PayPal number keeps popping up across dozens of complaints. These calls never come from official PayPal lines; the company only contacts users via email or its secure app. Never share your email, password, or card digits with anyone who phones you. If you’re unsure, hang up, log into your PayPal account directly, and verify any alerts. Add the number to your phone’s block list, report it to your carrier, and consider using a call‑filtering service. Stay vigilant, keep personal details private, and remember that legitimate businesses won’t demand sensitive information over an unsolicited call.

Plagsom samtale
